We are an interfaith hospice choir based in Newton, Massachusetts. Committed to singing at bedside for the comfort of people on their final journey, we sing in private homes, local nursing homes, hospitals and hospice facilities. We sing for the terminally ill, those with serious illness, and for caregivers and loved ones. JourneySongs also has a commitment to sing at local memorial services.
We believe in the healing power of music and the importance of community presence during life’s transitions, choosing songs that are meaningful to the patient and their family. Our repertoire of songs is drawn from many different faith and world traditions; it includes chants, rounds, spirituals, hymns, and classical music.
Singing is our gift and donations are gratefully accepted.
Arranging a Visit
JourneySongs is open to singing bedside in the Metro West Boston area when invited by a client, a client’s family or caregivers, as availability allows. The service is provided free of charge.
A member of the choir will talk with the person requesting the service to arrange an appropriate time for the patient.

God's timing is perfect. Your gracious band of songbirds came to my mother's bedside when we needed a word - a note - of healing. Your voices and passion shone through every song. I will never hear "Dona Nobis Pacem" the same way again. Thank you and Bless you. “ ~ Krysia B
